The Household Planning Process
How Workspace Cedarhub maps cold-storage holdings into spouse-readable household binders — from intake to continuity reviews.
From scattered notes to a filed binder
Household cold-storage planning is not a single conversation. It is a sequence: understand what exists, agree on language, produce documents, walk partners through them, and revisit when life changes.
Stage 1 — Intake (before we meet)
You describe wallet count, backup style, and who needs to understand the setup. We send a preparation checklist — no secrets required. You choose office or on-site delivery and confirm dates with a deposit.
Stage 2 — Mapping interview
We walk your storage reality: which devices are active, where phrase copies live, what happens if the primary holder is unavailable. We draft wallet nicknames with you, not for you. Diagrams sketch shelves, safes, and off-site locations.
Stage 3 — Document production
During the session we print inventory pages, recovery sequences, and location diagrams. Bilingual sections are laid out side by side when requested. Appendices hold technical detail the primary holder maintains.
Stage 4 — Spouse orientation
Thirty minutes minimum with partners asking first. We pause when jargon appears and translate into household vocabulary. Optional spouse briefing workshop adds practice scenarios.
Stage 5 — Filing and copies
You choose filing locations for primary and partner copies. Second copies for trusted contacts are sealed and logged in the binder index. We do not retain copies.
Stage 6 — Continuity rhythm
Eleven months later we invite you to a continuity review. Updates replace pages; retired wallets move to appendices. Remote review available for returning clients.
